Description
UltraSeal Locking is a silicone liner designed for transtibial (BK) and transfemoral (AK) amputations across activity levels K1–K4. It combines integrated sealing technology with mechanical locking to provide secure, stable, and reproducible suspension.
The integrated sealing band is available in three different heights and creates an airtight seal upon socket insertion. Distally, the liner is equipped with a threaded attachment for a metal pin, enabling use with shuttle lock systems in the socket. The combination of sealing and mechanical locking provides a high level of security while minimizing vertical movement.
The OptiSil material conforms to the contours of the residual limb, enhancing comfort, reducing friction, and supporting good skin tolerance—even at higher activity levels.
Available in three configurations: ultra-low, low, or high sealing band placement.
Secure Locking Mechanism: Threaded distal attachment ensures stable, secure, and comfortable suspension when used with locking systems.
OptiSil Technology: Smooth, thin, and lightweight inner surface that conforms to the residual limb and provides up to 80% lower friction compared to traditional silicone.
Fabric Technology: Durable outer textile that limits excessive stretch and reduces pistoning.
Distal Construction: Advanced bonding of multiple components creates a robust and durable internal structure, ensuring long service life, protection, and maintained fit over time.
Amputation Level: AK (Above Knee) and BK (Below Knee)
Thickness: 2 mm, uniform thickness
Material: OptiSil silicone
Suspension: Locking (also available with Cushion)
Sealing: Integrated single sealing band, available in three heights
Outer Fabric: Knitted gray textile with limited vertical stretch
