Description
V One microprocessor knee prosthesis is controlled by a microprocessor and sensors. The resistance of the knee prosthesis depends on the user’s walking speed and the gait will adjust automatically. In the auto-mode, the system provides variable joint resistances corresponding to the walking speed and it could be set by our PC program. A manual set for knee prosthesis resistance is also available.

Safety and intelligence
A new sensor is integrated to estimate dierent walking speed, and the knee prosthesis resistance can be changed for more natural gait and safety.
Walking speed setting
The system provides three walking speed
conditions (slow, natural, fast) by the PC
program in the auto-mode.
Four-bar mechanical design
The instance center of rotation (ICR) keeps posterior-superior to the body weight line ensures stance (heel contact to mid-stance) stability and sucient toe clearance during terminal swing . The ICR trajectory mimics normal pattern.
