Description
UltraSeal Cushion is a silicone liner designed for transtibial (BK) and transfemoral (AK) amputations across activity levels K1–K4. The liner combines integrated sealing technology with a distally cushioning construction and is particularly suitable when comfort, pressure relief, and even load distribution are primary clinical priorities.
The integrated sealing band is available in three different heights and creates an airtight seal upon socket insertion. In combination with OptiSil silicone, this ensures a conforming fit, reduced friction, and excellent skin compatibility. The distal end features a softer, shock-absorbing cushion designed to protect the sensitive distal end of the residual limb and enhance comfort during weight-bearing.
UltraSeal Cushion is an appropriate choice when sealing suspension is desired without mechanical locking, and with additional emphasis on distal pressure relief.
Available in three configurations: ultra-low, low, or high sealing band placement.
OptiSil Technology: Smooth, thin, and lightweight inner surface that conforms to the contours of the residual limb and provides up to 80% lower friction compared to traditional silicone.
Fabric Technology: Durable outer textile that limits excessive stretch and reduces pistoning.
Distal Construction: Advanced bonding of multiple components creates a robust and durable internal structure, ensuring long service life, protection, and maintained fit over time.
Amputation Level: AK (Above Knee) and BK (Below Knee)
Thickness: 2 mm, uniform thickness
Material: OptiSil silicone
Suspension: Cushion (also available with Locking (U-shaped matrix))
Sealing: Integrated single sealing band, available in three heights
Outer Fabric: Knitted gray textile with limited vertical stretch
