The Mitchell Ponseti® AFO Standard is an ankle foot orthosis for use in PEVA - Clubfoot correction according to the Ponseti method. The patented Mitchell Ponseti® system consists of a sandal-like AFO that attaches to the adjustable splint, with built-in dorsiflexion. The AFO is specially designed to avoid chafing and blisters on the child's foot. It has a hard sole with a quick release that provides easy handling for the parent. A soft elastomer lining for extra comfort and compliance. The upper part and straps are made of soft synthetic leather. The location of the heel can easily be seen through the two holes on the back of the AFO. An important part to get a perfect fit and optimal comfort. The Mitchell Ponseti® AFO Standard is available in three colors, grey, pink, and blue. Gray is available in sizes 0000 up to size. 12. Pink and blue are available in sizes 0000 up to size 6.
