The Mitchell Ponseti® AFO Standard is an ankle foot orthosis for use in PEVA - Clubfoot correction according to established standard treatment - the Ponseti method. The patented Mitchell Ponseti® system consists of a sandal-like AFO that attaches to the adjustable splint, with built-in dorsiflexion. All in accordance with Ponseti's standard protocol. The AFO is specially designed to avoid chafing and blisters on the child's foot. A soft elastomer lining for extra comfort and compliance. The upper part and straps are made of soft synthetic leather. The location of the heel can easily be seen through the two holes on the back of the AFO. An important part is to get a perfect fit and optimal comfort. AFO Prematur is developed for PEVA treatment in premature children. AFO and Skena are permanently fitted and are available in two sizes, P6-0 and P5-0. These sizes are not sold separately but only as a pair.
