Description
DorsiRamp is a stable dorsiflexion ramp designed to facilitate stretching of the Achilles tendon and calf muscles in children up to approximately 10 years of age.
Regular stretching can be an important part of treatment when dorsiflexion is limited, but it is not always easy to get children to actively participate in physiotherapy exercises every day. With DorsiRamp, stretching exercises can instead be easily incorporated into everyday activities, for example while brushing their teeth, playing games or helping with cooking.
The ramp is designed to ensure that the child places their feet in the correct position. The incline can then be adjusted to 10°, 15° or 20°. By turning the ramp, the angle can be changed between 10° and 20°, while the included accessory provides a 15° incline. The angled surface also helps maintain a consistent degree of dorsiflexion even when the position of the feet changes.
DorsiRamp is designed for safe and stable use and is suitable, among others, for children with idiopathic toe walking, cerebral palsy (CP) or PEVA (clubfoot).
