Description
Thermovac (Surlyn) is a transparent and flexible material used in the manufacture of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
The material is widely used by prosthetic and orthotic workshops, primarily for the manufacture of test sockets, cranial orthoses, facial masks for sports injuries and burn treatment, scoliosis orthoses, and flexible prosthetic sockets. Thanks to its transparency, skin contact and pressure distribution can be assessed directly during the fitting of the test socket.
