Description
Microballoon is a very light filler consisting of microscopically small, hollow spheres (microspheres). It is used as an additive in resin and laminate systems to create light, easily workable fillings and putties without adding any reinforcing effect.
When the microspheres are mixed with resin, they help to:

provide a light filler with low density

improve sandability after curing

reduce the risk of segregation in the mix

create materials that are easier to shape and finish.
Microballoon is a useful additive in the manufacture of filler components, moulding compounds and repair materials where low weight and good workability are desired.
