Description
The new Wilmer W2DO arm/shoulder orthosis is used to support and lift a fully or partially paralyzed arm. It counteracts subluxation and pain in the shoulder after e.g. stroke, plexus, and other peripheral nerve injuries. Using the wire that is connected between the shoulder cuff and the arm rail, the user can choose to have the arm fully extended or in 90° flexion. It is available in two versions, with and without a handrail. The level of hand function determines the choice of model.
