Description
Thermovac (Surlyn) is a transparent and flexible material used in the manufacture of prostheses and orthoses.
The material is used in many orthotic and prosthetic workshops, particularly for manufacturing check sockets, cranial orthoses, facial masks used in treating sports injuries and burns, scoliosis orthoses, and flexible prosthetic sockets. Thanks to the material’s transparency, skin contact and pressure distribution can be assessed directly during the fitting of the check socket.
