Description
Axiom Ankle is used to stabilize the ankle through its bilateral articulated braces. The back can be adjusted and individually adapted to the patient’s legs. Rigid circular bands open and close easily and safely with quick release. The footplate has backward stirrups that stabilize the heel in combination with the shoe and provide controlled heel placement. Axiom Ankle fits in most shoes and works great in combination with insoles. It is used for chronically unstable ankle joints and preventive purposes. The orthosis also allows full mobility in dorsiflexion and plantar flexion.
