The Achilles Boot is primarily used for Achilles tendon ruptures. Through the internal wedges, the foot can be plantarflexed up to 40° and gradually reduced by 10* per wedge down to 0*. The construction of the hollow foot increases comfort and above all prevents the foot from sliding forward in the orthosis. Soft lining, malleable rails, and mute circular bands provide good stability. The sole is durable and non-slip with a good roll-off that simplifies walking. The lining and straps are replaceable.
