Description
VGK-S, with its center of gravity proximal to the knee center, reflects a new way of thinking with respect to amputee healthcare, with special reference to amputees with short transfemoral stumps. The VGK-S uses fluid controlled stance phase and an active swing phase control, which supports natural movement in a variety of walking environments with variable speed. The VGK-S is water-resistant and robust. There is no need for electric charging, which creates endless possibilities to support the amputee.
