The Xtern Summit is one of Turbomed Orthotics’ latest drop foot orthoses. It is based on the same unique function as the Xtern Classic with a more low profile and slim design. The Xtern Summit is also 25% lighter than the Xtern Classic and has 18% more dorsal lift.<\/p>\n

The orthosis is applied to the outside of the shoe and thus does not come into contact with the foot. This means that the user avoids possible pressure and chafing. With the help of Clips, which are easily attached to the lace piece on the shoe, you can easily move the orthosis to different shoes. Extra Clips are included with each orthosis and these can be ordered separately. The Summit comes pre-tensioned and provides an active dorsal lift that suits most patients, which can also be adjusted as needed. For the active patient, the Xtern orthoses are particularly suitable as they are extremely durable and work in most activities and movements.<\/p>\n

Using the evaluation orthosis AT-Tool, Xtern orthoses can be easily tested on the patient to first ensure function and needs, before the orthosis is ordered and assembled for the individual patient.<\/p>\n
